Daphni

Named because of the similarity of its bouquet to the bay leaf (Laurel Tree) aroma. It is related to the Moschofiliro variety. Not highly acidic, it ripens slowly and is harvested in October; thus, the wine is best consumed after May. Ideally the bottle should be opened in August. Although it is a white wine, it can be aged with impressive results. The grapes are large and round on a sparse bunch.
